Unrelated David and I celebrated our country's freedom by stepping on it!
David and I went hiking in Donner Pass over the weekend. It’s the real place where the Donner Party got trapped, and there was even snow on the ground to complete the experience (that’s snow in the background, it’s just hard to tell because it’s a crappy picture). I kept telling David that I could really go for a snack and I wasn’t going to make it through all the snow so he should just take one for the team and let me eat him, but he didn’t seem to find this nearly as funny as I did.
It’s okay, he’s wiry anyway. Just kidding, David! It was awesome seeing you this weekend and I would totally eat you if it was a choice between that and starvation. <3
